- Let your voice be heard on Brown advisory boards and committees. Brown offers many opportunities for staff to be involved on campus — several of Brown's advisory boards and committees feature voting staff members. When staff vacancies are available, SAC announces opportunities in Today@Brown, reviews applications, and submits recommendations for candidacy to the committee's chair.
- Find an affinity group. Affinity groups help unite and provide support and belonging for staff at Brown with shared identities, interests, and backgrounds.
- Attend an event. There are many events open to and/or for staff at Brown.
- Join SAC! Staff who meet eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply for SAC.
- Stay connected and informed with SAC's newsletter, SACSays. Sent monthly to Brown University staff, SACSays provides important updates and activities for staff.

What SAC Can Do For You
The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) is a diverse group of staff from across the University that advises the president and senior administrators. We work to foster a positive staff environment by representing staff concerns on institutional committees, providing input on policies, and creating networking and collaboration opportunities.
