Staff Town Hall on Recent Federal Government Actions

April 22 AT 3:00 PM 
Join Brown University President Christina H. Paxson, Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration Sarah Latham and other senior administrators on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 3 p.m. for a Staff Town Hall on Recent Federal Government Actions. Senior leaders will take questions about a broad range of concerns related to the impact of recent federal government actions and Brown’s response.
Staff should register here in advance and will have an opportunity to ask questions at the time of registration or during the event. To request accommodations or assistance for this event, please contact Event Strategy and Management at eventstrategy@brown.edu.

Brown Recreation: First Fridays

_Brown Recreation is excited to introduce First Fridays, a new initiative starting March 7th. All faculty and staff are invited to access the Nelson Fitness Center on the first Friday of every month. Join us for a variety of group fitness classes and explore special additions to our regular programming. Whether you're looking for an individual workout or eager to try a new group class, there is something for everyone. All you need is your Brown Faculty/Staff ID. Please save the date and join us to discover all the Nelson Fitness Center offers!

Group Fitness Classes
First Friday participants are not required to register ahead, so please feel free to drop by and participate in any of our scheduled Group Fitness classes. Please speak with the instructor before class to be added to our First Friday check-in list.

Career Compass: Professional Development Series

In celebration of the School of Professional Studies (SPS) 10th Anniversary, the SPS career services team and University Human Resources are excited to present Career Compass, a series of events that will unlock your professional potential. Designed specifically for higher education professionals looking to strengthen their personal brand and professional presence, we'll cover topics such as developing your brand, elevating your resume for impact and preparing you to present your best self in interviews. CLS Language Tables

Are you looking for an opportunity to speak a language you once learned and want to relearn or practice? If so, bring your lunch and join us to freshen up your language skills in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

The Center For Language Studies is hosting weekly tables for French, German, and Spanish. All sessions take place on Thursdays from 12:00-12:50pm on the Sixth Floor of the Sciences Library.
